Rev. Sr. Lillian Driciru is a member of the congregation of Mary Mother of the Church.

Sr. Lillian and three other Community members have been mandated to open a new community in Canada. She has been there in the last few months and infact she and her group are waiting for WORK PERMIT ( a critical document) for working in Canada. As she waits she was granted an extended holiday that's why she has come home to Ombaci.

Yesterday 7th but November Sr. Lillian travelled to visit the family of her fellow Sr. in Lodonga where she spent the night.Today she was traveling to visit Viola a lady she mentored and sponsored till she became a nurse. So this morning she boarded a boda boda at Mengo (Lodonga suburb) and was visiting Viola who works at Yumbe Hospital. She was just 200 metres from the hospital gate when the accident happened. The errand taxi driver tried to escape but was relentlessly pursued by onlookers and arrested. But sr.lillian died instantly. MHSRIP
